I am a 100% disabled U.S. Army Veteran, a mother of five, and the Founder and CEO of Enrichly—a pediatric behavioral health platform dedicated to strengthening student self-esteem and resilience. For more than a decade, I have led ed-tech innovation that delivers measurable results in real classrooms, guided by strategic, data-driven leadership.
As a Black woman and a descendant of enslaved people, I carry a deep understanding of both the challenges and responsibilities that shape opportunity in this country. Living and raising my family right here in District 6, I bring both professional expertise and personal accountability to this role.
My candidacy is rooted in a simple promise: I will apply disciplined, results-driven leadership to protect our children, support our families, and strengthen Texas education for the future.
I approach education through two essential priorities: building the internal strength of our students and ensuring disciplined stewardship of the resources entrusted to us.
My work is grounded in the belief that self-esteem and mental resilience are not optional—they are foundational to academic success. At the same time, I bring a CEO’s responsibility to the oversight of our $50 Billion education fund, ensuring every decision reflects transparency, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
The result is an approach to education that strengthens both the child and the system—creating long-term impact for families across District 6.
More than ten years ago, I founded Enrichly after recognizing a critical gap in our education system—children were expected to perform academically without first having the internal confidence to succeed.
My work has focused on developing tools that measure and strengthen self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and resilience in students. These programs have reached thousands of children and demonstrated a clear truth: when a child believes in their worth, attendance improves, discipline issues decline, and academic performance has the space to grow.
This experience is not theoretical—it is proven, data-driven work that I am committed to bringing into Texas classrooms.
My service as a 100% disabled U.S. Army Veteran taught me discipline, accountability, and the responsibility of leadership under pressure. I learned that every decision carries weight—and that failure is not an option when people are depending on you.
I carry that same mindset into my work in education. I approach the $50 Billion Permanent School Fund with the precision of a mission, and I approach every policy decision as if it directly impacts one of my own five children.
Beyond my professional work, my most important role is being a wife and a mother. Raising five children across the K–12 system gives me a real, daily perspective on the challenges families face—from early childhood education to preparing students for the future.
I am running because I want the same thing for every family in District 6 that I want for my own: a strong, supportive education system built on confidence, accountability, and opportunity.
